Biography

Trevor’s road to the UFC was inspired by fellow Temecula native and MMA legend Dan Henderson. Growing up in Temecula, CA, Wells was a wrestler throughout high school, sharpening his skills for four years before transitioning to striking and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at 17. Over the next few years, he amassed 15 amateur fights, earning four championship belts, including the prestigious California State title.

At 23, Wells made his professional debut, quickly making a name for himself with appearances in major promotions like LFA, Combate Global, Oscar De La Hoya’s Fight Night, and Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat. He also showcased his talents as a member of Team McGregor on Season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter.

Originally training under legends at Team Quest, including Dan Henderson, Joe Stevenson, Sam Alvey, and Tarec Safedine, Trevor moved to Austin, Texas in 2024, where he now trains at Iron Forge.

As of April 2025, Wells is preparing for his upcoming bout against Justin Valentin at Reality Fighting on May 9, 2025, in Uncasville, Connecticut.
